We realised that many brands are being short-changed when it comes to social. 9 times out of 10 it comes down to a handful of factors: poor and unengaging content, lacking or unfocused strategy and/or a lack of investment in PPC (or just a poor approach to implementing PPC).
So we created PD&P to service this one need: make social content work harder for brands to deliver better results.
Historically video production, especially high-end video, has been expensive. For many brands prohibitively expensive, especially when it comes to social where putting out high-quality content frequently is one of the keys to success.
“it can be fast, cheap or good – pick two” has long been the mantra.
So we looked at the production model and removed anything that was unnecessary allowing us to drastically reduce cost without compromising on quality. Now you’re probably thinking, “this is great, but where’s the catch?”. Well, believe it or not, there isn’t one.
Everyone knows how well video performs on social, but just putting a video on a social platform isn’t enough. It needs to be engaging (informative/funny/awesome) it needs to be on brand and it needs to be part of an overarching strategy. Strategy and creative are just as important as the quality of the production.
The last piece of the puzzle is how the content is seeded in order to reach the right audience at the right time. We’re still on the lookout for the elusive ‘viral button’, and whilst that search continues we will continue to leverage paid for media to ensure that our great content gets the best possible start, a running jump rather than a faltering hop.
